Incorporate Hot Water: Slowly add the hot water and mix until you have a smooth batter.
Microwave: Pour the batter into the prepared dish and microwave on high for 4-5 minutes. Start checking at 4 minutes by inserting a toothpick in the center—it should come out clean.
Cool: Let the cake cool for a minute or two before turning it out or serving directly.
