Without claiming to replace medical treatment, it is recognized to help relieve discomfort related to muscle and joint tension — a gentle and natural support to regain some lightness in one’s movements.
The traditional preparation of soothing bay leaf oil
Please note, this is not a drink to sip, but rather a preparation for external use, ideal for relaxing massages. Easy to make at home, it requires only two ingredients.
Ingredients:
About thirty fresh bay leaves,
300 ml of neutral vegetable oil (such as sweet almond, sunflower or olive oil)
Preparation:
Lightly crush the bay leaves between your fingers to release their natural essences.
Place them in a clean glass jar, then completely cover them with oil.
Seal tightly and let it infuse for about 10 days in a warm, dry place, shaking the jar occasionally.
Strain the mixture and transfer your bay leaf oil to a dark glass bottle, away from light.
To use:
Pour a few drops onto tense areas (neck, back, legs, etc.) and massage gently. This simple gesture provides an immediate feeling of well-being and helps relax muscles after exercise or a long day.
