“They say I’m complicit. I’m just like him, I support him,” she told former friend and adviser Stephanie Winston Wolkoff in the leaked audio. “I don’t say enough, I don’t do enough where I am.”
She continued, “I’m working my a** off on the Christmas stuff, and who gives a f**k about Christmas decorations? But I need to do it, right?
“OK, so I’m doing all this Christmas planning, and they say, ‘Oh, what about the children who were separated?’ Give me a f**king break. Where were they when Obama did that? I was trying to help reunite a kid with their mom.
“I didn’t have a chance — it has to go through the process and through the law.”

After Wolkoff later published a book about her time with Melania, the First Lady’s team issued a statement: “Secretly taping the First Lady and breaking an NDA to publish a salacious book is a blatant bid for relevance.
“The timing is still questionable — as is this ongoing display of self-pity and narcissism.”
Despite the seriousness of the breach, Melania’s exasperated Christmas comments remain a source of amusement for many online. One person joked, “I’m sorry, but that leaked audio of Melania — Christmas really had her stressed.”
Another chimed in, “It was unforgettable.”
A third asked this week, “Remember when Melania literally said f**k Christmas?”
And someone else summed it up bluntly: “The whole world knows Melania doesn’t give a f**k about Christmas.”
